One of the newest (July 2026) additions to Vis Town’s dining scene, Zamaria Bistro & Wine Bar brings together exceptional food, fine wines, creative cocktails, and warm Mediterranean hospitality in a beautifully restored stone house.

The bistro is housed in the former home of the Bradanović family, locally known as Zamarija. Descendant Ante Martić carefully restored the historic building, turning a long-held dream into reality while preserving its authentic character. Even many of the elegant Thonet chairs have been lovingly refurbished by Ante himself, reflecting the craftsmanship that has been part of the family for generations.

Open for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening, Zamaria follows the relaxed rhythm of island life. Mornings begin with specialty coffee, fresh pastries, and beautifully prepared breakfast dishes, while evenings transform the intimate courtyard into one of Vis Town’s most inviting places to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, wine, and cocktails.
