Our Story

For more than four decades, Konoba Vatrica has been one of the best-known restaurants in Vis Town. Family-run since opening in 1979, it has welcomed generations of locals, returning visitors, and sailors looking for authentic Dalmatian cuisine in a relaxed setting.

Located in the heart of Vis Town, Vatrica combines traditional stone architecture with a warm courtyard that is especially inviting on summer evenings. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, making it equally suitable for a leisurely family dinner or a meal with friends.

The name “Vatrica” means “little fire” in Croatian, a fitting tribute to the traditional hearth where Dalmatian food has been prepared and shared for generations.

Our Offer
