Three places to get something to eat

1. Terminal F – convenient and close to the ferry

Located on the Riva near the port, Terminal F is the easiest option when you have luggage and do not want to walk far. It offers casual food, including burgers, bowls, tacos and vegetarian choices, with views towards the harbour.

2. Villa Spiza – small, local and full of character

Three places for last-minute shopping

There is one practical limitation: if you miss the last ferry in the evening, markets and many shops may already be closed. In that case, have dinner first and shop the following morning before departure—provided your ferry is not too early.

1. Pazar – food and local products beside the old town

3. City Center One Split

For a larger and more predictable selection, City Center One contains fashion, footwear, sportswear, electronics, telecommunications, a drugstore and food outlets. Best for: Replacing something important or completing a larger shop.

For only toothpaste, sunscreen, water or a phone charger, going to a large shopping centre is usually unnecessary—look for a supermarket, pharmacy or small shop around the centre instead.

How to find accommodation for the night

Search for accommodation around:

• Split Ferry Port – most practical for an early departure
• Lučac–Manuš – close to both the port and old town
• Bačvice – convenient for the port, with the bonus of a morning walk by the sea
• Diocletian’s Palace or the old town – atmospheric, but check walking distance carefully if carrying heavy luggage

Use a reputable booking platform and select:

• Tonight as the check-in date
• One night
• Available now or instant confirmation
• A clearly stated late check-in
• Accommodation within approximately 10–15 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal

Do not book only by looking at the map pin. Read the check-in instructions first: many private apartments do not have a permanently staffed reception, and the host may be unable to admit you late at night.
