Book it. You will have one of the most enjoyable, hospitable, and memorable hotel/travel experiences of your life. The owners/operators — Ivan and Erika — are superb. The breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant is one of the best on the island. It’s a no brainer, you’re done looking.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Giorgio. Our host was excellent and made many recommendations that helped us during our stay. We were also given a champagne welcome for our honeymoon, which was a personalized and special touch. This is a beautiful place on a special island and, if we make it back to Vis, we would gladly stay at this hotel again!

If anyone rates this lower than 5 stars, DO NOT BELIEVE IT. Ive (ee-vay) is the owner and makes very effort to support your time at his hotel and in Vis. I will go here again. There is nothing that would stop me.

Great location near the waterfront. The hosts are extremely kind and accommodating, always ready to help and give recommendations. Definitely a place to recommend.

What a charming, romantic and authentic little Croatian hotel. We loved everything about it. Breakfast was delicious, offering everything you can dream of. Our standard room was spacious and had lots of amenities. The restaurant for dinner is beautiful and the food great. The owner makes everything even more special, greeting everyone with a smile - what a lovely guy! We’d definitely consider coming back.

Wonderful place to stay. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet part of the town but still close to everything and it is incredibly charming. The owners make the hotel feel so comfortable and are very helpful and caring. Thank you hotel San Giorgio for making our stay on Vis even better!

We are so happy to have stayed at Hotel San Giorgio, Vis. The room was spacious, bed so comfortable and the views from the terrace were lovely.
The breakfast with eggs made by the very lovely and generous owner, eaten outside in the courtyard was something else. We felt like it was a honeymoon.
A short walk and we were swimming with the locals in the Adriatic.
Easy walking to other restaurants. Best of all we were on Vis on a Wednesday evening where Mamma Mia 2 is played on the big outdoor screen as a lot of the movie was filmed on Vis.
Such a special place, would highly recommend.
