This guide helps you quickly locate supermarkets, fresh fish shops, pharmacies and everyday essentials. Most stores accept international credit cards, and prices are clearly displayed. During the busy summer months it’s usually best to shop early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the largest crowds. Like the rest of Croatia, many shops have shorter opening hours outside the tourist season, so always check the latest opening times before visiting.

Cash only. This is a fantastic little fishmonger with incredibly fresh fish—probably some of the best you’ll find in town. Be sure to arrive early, ideally by 8 a.m. at the latest, because the selection goes fast and the fish quite literally disappears before your eyes! The staff are not only very friendly but also speak English, which makes communication easy if you’re not a local. They’re happy to answer questions, give recommendations, and even help with preparation tips. A real gem for anyone who loves quality seafood.

They have more than just meat. Fruits and other market items. Cards are accepted

A small store, but with everything you need on vacation. We were served by a very kind lady Luči, who was smiling and singing, though it was very early in the morning. She is a real added value of Konzum, as you do not get such experience everywhere.

Much better than other supermarkets around the area. 1: much happier shop assistants. Same brand cheaper price - less than half price. Lots of meat and hams.
