Plan some buffer time between your flight arrival and ferry departure. 1,5 hours is good.
From Split Airport to the city
Airport buses run regularly to Split and the travel ends at the harbour. If you prefer a car, Uber is usually more affordable than taxis. The Uber pickup point is located in the airport parking area—exit the terminal, turn right, walk down and cross the road, and wait in front of the bus terminal.

Missing the ferry is frustrating—but it does not have to spoil the beginning of your holiday. Split’s ferry terminal is beside the historic centre, giving you food, shopping and accommodation within easy reach. Treat the delay as an unexpected evening in one of Croatia’s most fascinating cities.
Ferry Options:
Car ferry (slower, more stable)
Operated by Jadrolinija. Travel time is approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. Departs twice daily in low season and up to three times daily in high season. Tickets can be purchased via the Jadrolinija app, online, or at the port ticket office. If you arrive by car in high season, book in advance.
Catamaran (passengers only, faster)
Operated by Krilo (Kapetan Luka).
Typically departs once daily from Split, usually around 18:00.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the port ticket office.
